Professor Dudley Knight and Professor Philip Thompson, of the University of California-Irvine, have developed a unique approach to speech and dialect training for actors and other professional voice users. They teach annual workshops in their innovative techniques for faculty at theatre departments around the world, as well as for professional actors, SLH scientists and linguists. These workshops are regularly held in August in New York City.
